La Serre des Vignes, a converted winery, has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, garage, and a 4 m X 6 m (13' X 20') tiled pool adjacent to a delightful little garden with olive trees and flowerbeds. It is situated in the village of Oupia, an hour from Montpelier and 25 minutes from Narbonne, which has TGV service to Paris. The beach at Narbonne Plage is a 40-minute drive.
The winery, which dates from the early 18th century, was renovated in 2001 and now has more than 190 m2 (2,145 sq. ft.) of living space on three levels. The surrounding garden is of similar size, and the total terrain measures approximately 425 m2 (2,173 sq. ft.). The property includes a large underground area, which could be renovated, where there are concrete tanks once used to age the wine.
Features include high ceilings with exposed beams, terra cotta tile floors in the kitchen and two bedrooms, and stained wood floors in the living room and other two bedrooms.
